Global Energy Choices in the Climate Change Age
Nuclear power is being cynically and cleverly promoted as the answer to catastrophic climate change and energy security. But, as a response to global warming, it is too slow, too expensive and too limited. In an age of terrorist threat it is more of a security risk than a solution. Renewable energy, however, offers a safe, secure and climate friendly energy supply system. It leaves no toxic legacy and is abundant and cheap to harvest.
Every Euro spent on nuclear power is a Euro less spent on the real solutions -
